SPRINT-Independent Publishers and Artists‘ Books Salon is an international exhibition dedicated to independent publishing and artists‘ books born in 2013 from an idea of O‘ non-profit association and curated by the artist Dafne Boggeri. A transversal and sustainable platform for cultural debate since its inception, this year SPRINT inaugurates its 9th edition confirming the partnership with Spazio Maiocchi and Istituto Svizzero.

For this ninth edition, SPRINT presents a selection of small self-produced experiences and more structured publishing houses, all with a common root: the freshness of the projects and the research of contents, formats, languages, insights and attitude.

The 2021 edition will take place from 26 to 28 November in the spaces of Spazio Maiocchi – Artifact (via Maiocchi 5/7) and spacciomaglieria (via Battaglia 27) – an experimental space dedicated to knitwear processing -, with the aim of expanding the number of collaborations and experiences, and to enhance ideas, people and paths. The access to the non-profit fair and to the side events is free for the public (except for the Risograph workshop and the Fundraising event).

The full schedule of activities is available on the website of SPRINT.

In accordance with current regulations, the public is required to present a Covid Green Certificate at the entrance in order to access the event. This includes one of the following:

  • • You have received the anti-COVID-19 vaccination, with proof that you have received the first dose of vaccine at least 15 days previously or that you have completed the vaccination cycle;
  • • Recovery from COVID-19 within 6 months prior to the date of the event;
  • • Present a rapid antigenic or molecular test with a negative result within 48 hours prior to admission.
