New Perspectives on the (Western) Mediterranean in Antiquity
Current Research Projects by Doctoral Candidates from Swiss Universities and International Doctoral Candidates in Rome

Istituto Svizzero hosts each year the archaeology departments of Swiss universities, providing a platform for work and discussion to give greater visibility to Swiss archaeological research in the Mediterranean region.

During the conference, Swiss doctoral students, together with doctoral students from various international research institutes in Rome, have the opportunity to present their research projects in the (Western) Mediterranean region. Participants include professors and researchers in classical archaeology from the universities of Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Paris, Mainz, and Cambridge.
