Based on Armando Petrucci La Scrittura: ideologia e rappresentazione, this talk is a survey of the evolutions of public lettering in Italy compared with other European countries and other graphic design productions (type design, typography).
Matthieu Cortat is a typographer and associate professor at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, where he leads the MA Type Design.
