On the occasion of the 12th edition of Musei in Musica, on Saturday 19.11.2022 Istituto Svizzero will exceptionally open its doors to the public during nightime, until H24:00.
The evening will be an opportunity to visit the exhibition L’arcobaleno riposa sulla strada, a group show presenting a selection of artworks by Meret Oppenheim placed in dialogue with works by artists of a recent generation: Pascale Birchler, Miriam Laura Leonardi, Hunter Longe, Lou Masduraud, Luzie Meyer, and Ser Serpas.
In the garden of Villa Maraini, it will also be possible to see The Forbidden Tempietto, an installation that offers a reflection on the European Union’s migration policies, conceived by architects and designers Jesse van der Ploeg and Tymon Hogenelst (Studio Wild collective) on the occasion of The European Pavilion in Rome.
Musei in Musica is an initiative that allows to appreciate the beauty of the permanent collections and the works of the numerous temporary exhibitions currently on display, while at the same time attending the extensive programme of concerts and live performances planned. Around 50 spaces with 35 exhibitions are taking part in the event, with over 100 events, including entertainment and guided tours.
The event is promoted by Roma Culture, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali with the collaboration of Zètema Progetto Cultura.
