The Istituto Svizzero, Rome—since its inception in 1949— promotes the development of young artists and researchers by offering them a residency in Rome. In light of this tradition, the ISR offers, within its residency program, the possibility to follow a transdisciplinary programme —”Roma Calling”—which aims to provide a platform for research, creation and training between different disciplines for twelve selected artists and researchers who will reside at Villa Maraini from September 2017 to July 2018.

Restart, 2016-2017—Roma Calling, is both an event in which we will introduce to the public this year’s Residents, and also a unique opportunity for the people invited to get to know in a more intimate context the Residents and their projects.
