On the occasion of Salone del Mobile

STRALA and SHIBULERU visualize alternatives to fast pace design. The objects on display were given room to emerge from thoughts and reflections over time, removed from financial ambitions. With “Time is more” STRALA and SHIBULERU present their exclusive furniture and lighting design.

STRALA was founded by Tom Strala in 2001. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture (MSC ETH Arch) with distinction. The first series of lamps was invented during more than four years of extensive research. Today Strala is known as design pioneer questioning established values and nurturing new ones.
The creation of his objects emerges out of a passion for awakening thoughts, the pleasure for research and a fascination for the nature of material. Strala’s spirit is one of a seeker, constantly challenging himself to get to the heart of things.
His objets d’art are known and appreciated as sophisticated, precise and timeless pieces of art as well as objects of function. STRALA is presence. That’s the DNA of STRALA. www.STRALA.ch
