Designing in ecologically fragile territories requires a varied awareness related to the identity and history of places, as well as the evolution of flora and fauna in response to demographic pressure and climate change.
The presentation of some projects at the intersection of architecture and landscape, particularly focused on the theme of water, will be followed by a reflection centered on the Venice Lagoon.

Swiss Talks. Architecture VS Territory

Swiss Talks is a series of talks dedicated to the orientations of contemporary architecture in Switzerland, now in its eighth edition.
Three evenings during 2024 are aimed at investigating the intersections between architecture and territory: how can architecture bring out the identities of places? Can architecture affect communities perceptions of their home territories? Can public space be considered “educating”? Can a landscape architect contribute to strengthening the identity of place?
Architects and landscape architects working on spatial issues are involved to try to provide answers-necessarily not definitive- to these questions. To further reinforce the central theme, the city in which the meeting is held is not indifferent to the topic being addressed, but rather conditions its choices.

For this initiative, a request has been made to the CNAPPC for the recognition of 2 professional training credits for architects. Mandatory registration
