Musicians:

Laura Schuler aka Kate Birch (vocals, synths, violin, samples): facing the world naked, without the emotional burden of patterns which we have outgrown. Moving beyond the ego to embrace unconditional love. These aspirations comprise the heart of Kate Birch’s new album The Fool, which was released in April 2022 by the label Red Brick Chapel. Laura Schuler plays the violin since many years and made a name for herself in the international jazz – and creative music scene (trio Esche and her quartet amongst others). Trough the alter ego Kate Birch she develops her language further in the direction of Artpop and Indietronica. During a long stay in New York the project got its spirit and initial push. In the city she started the process of songwriting and studio production. She still returns to New York on a regular base to play and to fill up her mind and heart with experiences of the metropole live, which flow back into her music. 

Shunaji is a rapper, vocalist and producer hailing from Rome and currently based in London. Her innovative musical style blends jazz-influenced hip-hop with funk, soul and psychedelic rock flavours, and has gained her recognition by the British Music Collection, the Help Musicians MOBO Awards and BBC Radio hosts including Jamz Supernova. Shunaji’s releases have been acclaimed within independent music scenes in the UK and abroad, as she adopts an afrofuturistic genre-bending sound to push the boundaries of mainstream music. Additionally, she is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Italia Music Export Supporto Showcase, PRS Open Fund and Help Musicians Do It Differently. She has performed internationally and across the UK, including festivals like Glastonbury Festival, Love Supreme, Montreux Jazz Festival and We Out Here.

Hailing from Zürich soungou (FUBU) is excited to find his place in the nocturnal playground of music and celebration. His style is best described as a mix of diasporic* and black* deconstructed club. His ultimate goal is to create new biotopes for queer BIPOC. As soungou concludes «it’s about celebrating ourselves and caring for each other».
