The event is part of the series I Pomeriggi dedicated to the Fellows.
Curated by Julian Pollina (Fellow Roma Calling / Music).

Julian Pollina, aka Faber, is a Swiss musician. After more than ten years as an integral part of the music scene in German-speaking countries, Faber made use of his time at the Istituto Svizzero in Rome to work on his repertoire in Italian. A preview of this work will be offered during the event, in the setting of the garden of Istituto Svizzero.
Together with his orchestra, Goran Koc y Vocalist Orkestar Band (Tillmann Ostendarp, trombone and drums, Janos Mjinssen, cello and bass, Goran Koc, piano and synth, Max Kämmerling, guitar and percussion, Mel D, voice and guitar, Dino Brandão, voice and percussion, Gina Été, viola and voice, Julia Schwob, violin and voice) will play a small acoustic concert.

Julian Pollina (1993) is a musician who released his first songs in German in 2015 under the songwriter’s name of Faber. Since then, he has become known in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for his sharp lyrics. Two EPs and four albums constitute the core of his discography, drawing on influences from Balkan folk and chanson, while clearly falling within the German-language music scene, of which he is a recognized and relevant part. In Rome, Julian Pollina is immersing himself in the Roman music scene and will develop an album in Italian, in close collaboration with local musicians.
