In May 2014, Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank (Palestine) shot and killed two teenagers, Nadeem Nawara and Mohamad Abu Daher. Lawrence Abu Hamdan worked with the human rights organization Defence for Children International and Forensic Architecture, a Goldsmiths College-based agency that undertakes advanced architectural and media research, to investigate the incident and determine whether the soldiers had used rubber bullets, as they asserted, or fired live ammunition.

Lawrence Abu Hamdan is an artist who lives and works in Beirut, recently he exhibited at Portikus, Frankfurt.

Stefano Collicelli Cagol is Curator at Large dat Trondheim kunstmuseum, Norway.
