Is And Always Was
The event is part of the series I Pomeriggi dedicated to the Fellows.
Curated by Gabriel Stöckli (Fellow Roma Calling / Visual Arts, Sound).
At the invitation of Gabriel Stöckli, Nicola Tirabasso, aka VISIO, presents a live set accompanied by the presentation of a work in progress, a collaborative production between the two artists.
Through the manipulation of cassette players and audio cassettes, Stöckli and VISIO create a sound installation that weaves together DIY techniques, direct interventions, and compositional approaches characteristic of their respective practices.
The event may be photographed and/or video recorded for archival, educational, and related promotional purposes. By attending this event, you are giving your consent to be photographed and/or video recorded.

VISIO is the alias of musician and visual artist Nicola Tirabasso based in London. Both in music and visuals, his output investigates and explores the arcane tangents between reality and the unexplainable. Much like a modern antiquarian, he takes inspiration from a wide range of fictional imageries, repurposing them in an intricate, deconstructed, melancholically haunted music. In September 2022 the LP ‘Privacy Angels’ was released by Haunter Records and in January 2024 presented the solo exhibition “Fools Circel 9wys’ in Milan curated by Threes with the participation of Penny Rimbaud.
