Christmas Market/Music Festival: Rome
Introduction
Participants
Following last year’s big success, the Istituto Svizzero will host, once again in Rome and also in Venice and Milan, the Christmas Market / MUSIC FESTIVAL: independent Swiss and Italian labels, LP stands, sounds and concerts.
LP’s can be bought and much more: the music market will exhibit limited editions, merchandising, t-shirts, posters and much more. The idea behind the event is to give space to the independent scene’s creativity, by creating moments of encounter between the public, fans and who produces music.
The event is curated by Daniel Fontana – Bad Bonn, Düdingen, with Stéphanie-Aloysia Moretti – Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation.

ARTHUR HENRY
Flagship of his discipline, Arthur Henry became a specialist in loopstation beatbox and presents an Electro-Hip hop show on his way. He records his singing and his beatboxing into a loopstation and layers other instruments – as an Alphorn-didgeridoo that he is particularly affectionate to. On the other hand, he doesn’t hesitate to surround himself with machines and with other musicians to fit the music perfectly. An explosive live performance, but also the discovery of a whole universe. A universe oscillating between happiness and a hard look at society.
PE-010 – L.ZYLBERBERG / BELIA WINNEWISSER –
PE-010 is a split tape that brings together Belia Winnewisser hailing from Lucerne and Berlin-based L.Zylberberg. While the former’s side of the tape features three synth-pop-y oddballs that are equally fragile, haunting and strong, and that sit somewhere between the smell of melted butter and having a nude jog, the latter’s « Chatter » is a 15-minutes balearic/electro-jam that feels like a warm handshake between Manuel Göttsching and Heinrich Müller. The split tape marked the 10th audio-release of Präsens Editionen and is now transformed into a split live-set.
PRÄSENS EDITIONEN
Präsens Editionen was founded in 2011 to give home to zweikommasieben Magazin. Ever since a variety of magazines, books, zines, records, tapes and oddities has been published. Präsens Editionen is interested in projects that either are exploratory in its setup and/or are questioning and crossing borders.
