Soraya Lutangu Bonaventure & Tiran:
Performance / Listening session
H19:45-20:30

Soraya Lutangu Bonaventure uses film, music and movements to build expressive systems of repair that value the poetic notion of Blackness, queerness, technology, and spirituality. Her practice allows the creation of practical and speculative languages while finding new ways to belong in the culture continuum of Otherness within a decolonial context. Between 2016 and 2018, she co-created the performance piece Anxietina with Hannah Black and Ebba Fransén Waldhör, and presented the project at ICA & Chisensale in London, MOMA PS1 in New York, Centre Pompidou in Paris and Centre d’art contemporain in Geneva. In 2019, she was awarded a Swiss Prize for the body of her work, and created Eternal, a cultural company active in the fields of experimental theatre and dance.

TIRAN is an artist. His performance based practise explores the body inside an unimaginable environment. Using physical depth to create sonic images that deal with the construction of systems, creating experiences that communicate somatic and psychological landscapes beyond the human condition. He has worked and collaborated with Eszter Salamon, Jérôme Bel, Trajal Harrell, Meg Stuart, Ligia Lewis, Andros Zins-Browne, Alex Baczinsky Jenkins, Dorota Gawęda & Eglé Kulbokaitė, Price (Mathias Ringgenberg) and with Cullberg ballet under Deborah Hay and Jefta Van Dinther.

Yantan Ministry
Listening session
H20:45–21:30

Yantan Ministry is an experimental composer, live musician and DJ based in Berlin but born in Lugano. Recognisable by their mercuriality and eclectic movements, their work permeates a keen interest in ambiguity, obfuscation and the emotional body; an ever-present suggestion of their inclinations being motivated by stepping outside the frame to highlight a riddle, to create feelingly and work within mythical space. They self-released their edits pack Attacco Mixtape in 2018, followed by the interpretative piece Raw Red Redux on Swedish label Country Music. Their debut EP, Radio Unnameable, was released in 2020 on Berlin based experimental label Yegorka, followed by Flagrant Hours in 2021 on the same, with duo Kittisol. Yantan Ministry both djs and plays live, having performed at international events and venues such as Sonic Acts, Säule at Berghain, All Club Shanghai, Cakeshop Seoul and Bala Club in London.
