The show will take place at Ex-Chiesetta Parco Trotter, Via Angelo Mosso 7, Milan.

Istituto Svizzero is pleased to collaborate with Danae Festival (XXIII edition, Milan 26.09-24.10.2021), by supporting the Italian premiere of the performance Dédicace, curated by La PP/Pierre Piton and Romane Peytavin.

«Welcome. Enter either alone or with friends. Close the door. Choose your music. Press Play. Exit at the end of the track».
These brief instructions open the performance Dédicace by La PP – Pierre Piton and Romane Peytavin, a young Swiss company in Italy for the first time. An unusual jukebox, a playful challenge between the two performers on stage and the audience, who are invited to select their preferred music track and enjoy a performance for a close number of viewers. This play is also a moment of physical exploration for the performers who establish a mutual connection by using very simple codes such as canon, repetition, replication, complementarity. A choreographic marathon focused on the bodies’ ability required to respond to the music imposed on them.

More information

La PP is a Swiss company founded in 2018 by Pierre Piton and Romane Peytavin, choreographers and performers for renowned European dance companies. After his education at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, Piton continued his training at La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène in Losanne (2014-2017). As a dancer he performed with Ioannis Mandafounis, Simone Aughterlony, Lea Moro and Isabel Lewis. Peytavin, after studying contemporary dance at the Regional Conservatory in Montpellier, continued her training at La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène in Losanne (2014-2017). As a dancer/performer she worked with Jozsef Trefeli, Mike Winter, Maud Blandel and Yasmine Hugonnet.
